Last year Ascot hosted a free community event to celebrate the completion of Ascot Park and the end of a great year within the Ascot community.

Running from 12pm until 3pm on Saturday the 10th of December, Ascot Park came alive with Christmas themed decorations and a variety of family friendly activities for everyone to enjoy as soon as they walked through the purple and white Ascot balloon archway.

Visitors were treated to warm coffee upon arrival and a delicious spread of food from Babaji’s Kitchen, Mr Burger and the Pakenham CFA who not only ran a barbecue but brought an accompanying large fire truck that was big hit with the kids.

The day was fun for the whole family with activities including a jumping castle, petting zoo, garden party games, balloon artist, face painters and a surprise visit from Santa Clause himself.

The team at Ascot were excited to see many children and families enjoying the new park playground and using the slide and swing set during the event. We would like to thank everyone who came down on the day, with some local members even bringing their own picnic blanket!

We hope everyone enjoyed the day and had the opportunity to meet other members of the Ascot community!
